[...] The D-Day is here for when I will be upgrading to Windows 7, but things should not really slow down on the blog hopefully. In case you are wondering, I will be moving to Windows 7 from a Windows XP platform. I did initially try Windows Vista for a couple of months but then moved back to Windows XP mainly because my PC also serves as an Audiophile PC (Part 1 & Part 2) and most of the Audiophile players like cPlay never played on the Windows Vista. I’m back to trying out Windows 7 and will keep you posted on how it turns as well as review it as and when time permits it but in the meantime you can check out Windows 7 review by my great buddy Rajib at Windows 7: A Common Man’s Perspective.
Thanks for the feedback Alex.

I have download the Windows 7 RC Beta (dated Apr-May 2009) and I am conducting the usability trials using the Beta installed on 2 computers in different offices.

Since functionally, RC is unlikely to be drastically different than RTM, I chose not to download and installed an un-licensed version of Windows 7. Beta version will have to do for the testing; will end up having access to legit Retail/OEM/VLK version of Win 7 soon enough.

Hi Rajib,

Great article on Windows 7. I enjoyed reading your detailed explanations and feelings about the RTM.
What version of the RTM have you deployed?

Best regards,

Alex
